Introduction

Cisco’s IoT productline offer a variety of Industrial Router (IR) and Industrial Ethernet Switches (IE), each with its own product characteristics. They are designed to work in difficult physical conditions such as vast temperature range, shock and vibration and are resistant to tampering.

Many use cases have special demands to physical attributes and compliancy requirements to standards such as Environmental Engineering Considerations and Laboratory Tests (MIL-STD), Environmental Conditions and Test Procedures for Airborne Equipment (DO-160), FAA/PMA, ARINC, ICAO. To comply with these requirements our Embedded product line allows our partners to design and manufacture their custom products to suit their form and packaging needs.
