Business Critical Insights (BCI)

Business Critical Insights (BCI) portal shows various key performance indicators, trends and predictive analytics insights. The data shown on the portal is now also available through APIs as an add-on service. If the service is not enabled then users trying to access the BCS APIs will get an error.

The Service APIs are available to all customers but accounts using BCI will see some difference in the Inventory and Alerts data coming from the Service APIs compared to the data on the BCI portal or the BCS APIs. This is a known caveat until such time that BCI shifts the inventory and alert processing to the common platform.

All Cisco BCS APIs support filtering, pagination, sorting and chunked transfer encoding.
