Controlling the Guest Shell
The Cisco Nexus 3000 and 9000 Series switches support an execution workspace within a container called the Guest Shell. Decoupling this execution space from the native host system of the switch allows customization of the Linux environment to suit the needs of the applications without impacting the host system.
This section contains payload examples to demonstrate how to use the NX-API REST API to control the state of the Guest Shell on the Cisco Nexus 3000 and 9000 Series switches.
