IPS Profiles

The Cisco Secure Access IPS Profiles API enables you to create, view, and manage custom Intrusion Prevention System (IPS) profiles and IPS signatures. You can also view and update the system-defined IPS profiles and signatures.

Rate Limits for IPS Profiles

Secure Access enables rate limits on the IPS Profiles API endpoints. For more information, see Rate Limits > IPS Profiles.

Request Headers

Unless specified, the Secure Access API endpoints use JSON for all requests and responses.

Note: For POST, PUT, and PATCH operations, set the HTTP Content-Type header to application/json in your API request.

IPS Profiles API Endpoints
