Policy Rules

The Cisco Secure Access Policy Rules API enables you to create, list, update, and delete access rules on your policy. You can also manage rule settings and the default rules, and internet applications in application lists.

You can find the Secure Access Policy Rules API endpoints under the policies scope in Secure Access.

Rate Limits for Policy Rules

Secure Access enables rate limits on the Policy Rules API endpoints. For more information, see Rate Limits > Policy Rules.

Request Headers

Unless specified, the Secure Access API endpoints use JSON for all requests and responses.

Note: For POST, PUT, and PATCH operations, set the HTTP Content-Type header to application/json in your API request.
