Secure Web Gateway Device Settings
The Secure Access Secure Web Gateway (SWG) Device Settings API enables you to manage the SWG setting for devices registered with Secure Access. Secure Access protects and secures the devices in your organization and provides visibility into the traffic sent from the device. You can find the Secure Access Secure Web Gateway Device Settings API endpoints under the deployments
scope.

Prerequisites
- Add devices (roaming computers) in your organization to Secure Access. Before you can add an SWG override setting to a device, you must add the device to Secure Access. Secure Access applies the SWG override setting to the device using the device's origin ID.
- Get the origin ID of the roaming computers registered with Secure Access. For more information, see List Roaming Computers.
Rate Limits for Secure Web Gateway Device Settings
Secure Access enables rate limits on the Secure Web Gateway Device Settings API endpoints. For more information, see Rate Limits > Secure Web Gateway Device Settings.
Request Headers
Unless specified, the Secure Access API endpoints use JSON for all requests and responses.
Note: For POST, PUT, and PATCH operations, set the HTTPContent-Type
header toapplication/json
in your API request.
