Secure Web Gateway Device Settings
The Umbrella Secure Web Gateway (SWG) Device Settings API enables you to manage the SWG setting for devices registered with Umbrella. Umbrella protects and secures the devices in your organization and provides visibility into the traffic sent from the device. You can find the Umbrella Secure Web Gateway Device Settings API endpoints under the deployments
scope.
Prerequisites
- Add devices (roaming computers) in your organization to Umbrella. Before you can add an SWG override setting to a device, you must add the device to Umbrella. Umbrella applies the SWG override setting to the device using the device's origin ID.
- Get the origin ID of the roaming computers registered with Umbrella. For more information, see List Roaming Computers.
