A Summary Process for Defining Enterprise Variables
The following steps summarize the process for defining enterprise variables in the Cisco Unified CCX system. See the Cisco Unified ICME documentation for how to define ECC variables in Cisco Unified ICME software.
Procedure
Step 1 | In the Cisco Finesse Administration screen, select Call Variables Layout from the left pane. The Manage Call Variable Layouts page is displayed. |
Step 2 | Click New. Create New Layout pane is displayed. |
Step 3 | Enter Name for the new layout. |
Step 4 | Enter Description for the layout. |
Step 5 | Enter Display Name for Call Header Layout. |
Step 6 | Select a callVariable from the list. |
Step 7 | Click Add Row in the Call Body Layout pane. |
Step 8 | Enter a Display Name and select the required callVariable. |
Step 9 | Click Add Row to add more rows to Call Body Layout. |
Step 10 | Select Custom from the call variable list and enter the corresponding name that has been configured in the Editor. |
Step 11 | Click Save. |
Step 12 | Configure the Set Enterprise Call Info (Expanded Call Variables tab) step in your Cisco Unified CCX script to set values for the ECC Variables. Example:![]() |
Step 13 | Configure the Set Enterprise Call Info (Expanded Call Variables tab) step in your Cisco Unified CCX script to use a custom layout that was created in Step 2. Example:![]() Maximum number of ASCII characters supported are 210 and for other character encodings, less number of characters are supported. |
Step 14 | Configure the Set Enterprise Call Info (General tab) step using in your Cisco Unified CCX script to set values for the Cisco predefined Call Peripheral Variables. Example:![]() |
Step 15 | Check your list of Call Peripheral Variables in the Set Enterprise Call Info step. Example:![]() Maximum number of ASCII characters supported are 40 and for other character encodings, less number of characters are supported. |
Step 16 | Check your list of ECC Variables in the Set Enterprise Call Info step. Example:![]() |
Step 17 | Check the values set in the Set Enterprise Call Info step displayed on the Cisco Finesse Desktop. Example:![]() |
