Prompts tab (Explicit Confirmation step)

Use the Prompts tab of the Explicit Confirmation customizer window to specify initial, error, and timeout prompts and to set Barge In and Continue On Prompt Errors options.

The following table describes the properties of the Prompts tab of the Explicit Confirmation customizer window:

Properties / Buttons

Description

Initial Prompt

Variable or expression indicating the first prompt to be played back.

Error Prompt

Variable or expression indicating the prompt to be played in the event of an input error. (Optional; leave blank to use the system default.)

Timeout Prompt

Variable or expression indicating the prompt to be played in the event of a timeout. (Optional; leave blank to use the system default.)

Barge In

Yes—The caller can interrupt the prompt.

No—The prompt must complete playback before the caller can respond.

Continue on Prompt Errors

Yes—The step continues with the next prompt in the list if a prompt error occurs, or, if this prompt was the last in the list, the step waits for input from the caller.

No—An exception results, which can then be handled in the script.
