Security Configuration Options

Customer Collaboration Platform may be deployed where some users access the server through a firewall or proxy, and others do not. For the customer chat interface, it is possible to prevent the Customer Collaboration Platform server from being abused or limiting access for those outside the firewall to specific server functionality by deploying it behind a firewall or proxy server. Within one deployment, a reverse proxy or a firewall may be used — but not both.
