Asset details
The Assets page shows the list of assets filtered based on the Organization Hierarchy level that is selected. Only the levels accessible to the currently logged-in user are shown in bold text. Selecting a specific level in the hierarchy will filter the data and widget values of the assets present under that hierarchy level and all of its child levels. The filtered assets are displayed in the right pane of the page. If you select the Global level, then, all the assets present for the tenant will be listed and the widget values are updated accordingly. The number next to a level is the Active Alerts (associated with all assets, if any) count for that level which is the default value of the aggregated alert counts, i.e., the count of alerts on that level and the levels below it. If you want to see only the counts at a specific organization level, then, click
located on top of the alerts table and select Local Alerts under Number Display. The Organization Hierarchy pane can be collapsed.
Clicking on any asset on the asset listing page redirects the user to the asset details page.
The page shows an alerts card displaying the count of total alerts. The count for each of the critical, major, and minor alerts category is also displayed.
The asset details page shows the summary of the asset details and the details of the sensor placed on the asset.
The summary tab displays
- A thumbnail image of the asset.
- The details of the asset such as name of the asset, asset type, model, description, number of sensors placed, when the asset was added to the inventory, by whom was it added, the id of the user that updated the details, and the date when the asset was last modified.
- The organization hierarchy of the asset. Clicking on the link next to it will take you to the Organization page.
- The current location of the asset can be seen on the map present on the right.
- A line chart shows the trend of telemetry of the asset in the Data Summary section at the bottom of the page.

In the above image, the left-hand side label depicts the latest temperature/humidity value observed for the sensors. Hovering on it displays the time stamp of the observation.
If 2 more sensors of the same type (except the pulse counter sensors) are assigned to an asset, then both of them are shown in the same graph. If 2 or more pulse counter sensors are assigned to an asset, they are shown in separate graphs.
Sensor Summary
Clicking on the Sensors tab present adjacent to the Summary tab, or clicking on the count displayed under Sensors column on the asset list view page, displays the summary details of the sensors which are paired with the asset.
The sensors that are assigned to an asset will be under the same organization hierarchy Level as that of the Asset.
You can assign a sensor to an organization hierarchy only if it is onboarded and not part of any asset. To assign multiple sensors to a specific Organization hierarchy, select the required sensors, click on Actions > Move Org Hierarchy. Select a Level from the Assign Org Hierarchy list. Click
to expand the hierarchy and
to collapse the hierarchy. You can also search for the Level using the Find Hierarchy search field above the hierarchy. Start typing to narrow down the search. Click Assign.
Move Asset to a different Organization Hierarchy
- From the left pane click Inventory -> Assets -> select one or more network devices to move to a different level.
- Click Actions → Move Org Hierarchy.
- Select a level from the Assign Org Hierarchy list. Click
to expand the hierarchy and
to collapse the hierarchy. You can also search for the level in the Find Hierarchy search field above the hierarchy. Start typing to narrow down the search. Click Assign.
Note: The sensors associated with the assets will also move to the same hierarchy level as that of the asset.
