View EI events
Alert: Cisco has made the end-of-life (EOL) announcement for the Cisco Edge Intelligence.
You can view Events to track the health status of the system, an EI agent, or a data policy.
From the left menu, click Operations > Events. A combined list of all the events is shown with the following fields:
| Column Header | Description |
|---|---|
| Severity | Shows the severity of the events. It can be from Info or Major. |
| Entity Name | Shows the entity which has raised this event. This could be an EI Agent or a Data Policy instance. |
| Severity | Shows the type of event. Currently supported events are Agent Status and Policy Health. |
| Event Time | Shows the time at which the event occurred. |
| Message | Gives more details about this specific instance of event. |
View EI Agent events
- From the left pane, click EI Agents, then click on the EI Agent for which you want to view the details.
- Click the Event Log tab to view the log of all the events that occurred for that EI agent.
View data policy events
- From the left pane, click Data Policies > Data Logics. The deployed Data Logic entries are displayed on the right pane.
- Click View Policy Status under the data policy for which you want to view the details.
- Under Policy Status column, check for the data policy that has the status—Error and click on that. The Status Details page opens.
- Click Event Log tab to view all events related to that data policy.
