Cisco IOx: Getting Started with the Cisco IC3000 Industrial Compute Gateway

This document describes how to get started with your Cisco IC3000 Industrial Compute Gateway. It explains to how install and connect the gateway and how to configure Cisco IOS to enable access to Cisco IOx.

This document assumes the following:

  • You are familiar with the operating system of the computer that you are connecting to the router.
  • A serial communication program such as PuTTY on Windows or Serial for MacOS is installed on your computer, and you are familiar with the operation of this program.
  • You are familiar with low voltage DC wiring or have assistance from someone who is.
