Introduction

The Umbrella Management API enables you to manage the security of your networks, tunnels, network entities, users, and roles.

Use Cases

• Provision and manage networks, domains, tunnels, network devices, and users
• Manage roles and policies
• Block or allow internet destinations
• Protect against suspicious or malicious domains
• Manage customers and service providers

API Keys

The Umbrella Management API authenticates requests with the Management API key and includes:

• Networks and Domains
• Network Tunnels
• Users and Roles
• Destination Lists
• Service Providers

The Umbrella Network Devices and Policies API authenticates requests with the Network Devices API key.

The Umbrella Enforcement API authenticates requests with a unique customer key.

Service Providers

Umbrella service providers access and generate API keys through the Umbrella Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP) console. For more information, see Service Providers.
