Collect Tech-Support Information

The show techsupport command will create a file with all the tech-support data under the /var/dump directory.

  1. Delete old tech-support files from the /var/dump folder using the below commands:
root@localhost:# cd /var/dump
root@localhost:/var/dump# rm *
  1. Execute the show techsuport command and use the ls command to verify that the tech-support tar file has been created.
root@localhost:/var/dump# show techsupport
root@localhost:/var/dump# ls
sonic_dump_localhost_20220426_074842.tar.gz
  1. Download this file to your lab-server and extract its contents.
