Connecting to the HyperFlex REST API Explorer

To access the HyperFlex REST API Explorer, use the HyperFlex Data Platform Cluster Management IP address.

Note:

• This is the IP address which was configured during initial HyperFlex cluster installation.
• This is the same IP address that is used to access HyperFlex Connect. Both the HyperFlex REST API Explorer and HyperFlex Connect are accessed using the same IP address, however they have a different URL path.

Navigate to https://hyperflex_connect_ip/apiexplorer in your web browser to access the HyperFlex REST API Explorer.

The HyperFlex REST API Explorer prompts for login credentials if you have not already logged into HyperFlex Connect. Provide a valid username and password to continue.

Note:

• For HyperFlex Data Platform 3.0 and prior versions, login as root.
• For HyperFlex Data Platform 3.5 and later versions, login as admin. Please note for versions 3.5 and later, you cannot login as root.
