Each item represents one unique access point model. Items have no independent lifecycle or identifier beyond the model field; each model value is unique within the collection and serves as the natural key. This data is derived from hardware capabilities and regulatory maximums, not user-configurable settings; it virtually never changes. When networkIds[] is provided, the population is restricted to models deployed in those networks. Because capabilities are model-intrinsic (identical for the same model regardless of which network it appears in), network metadata is intentionally omitted from the response; the filter only narrows which deployed models are included. Clients that need to know which networks deploy a specific model should use the device inventory endpoints. The errors array in error responses contains at most 1 element. \n\n**Error responses:** 400 Bad Request — returned when a query parameter is malformed or out of range (e.g. invalid band value, perPage \u003c 3 or \u003e 200). Body: { \"errors\": [\"radioBands[] must be one of: 2.4, 5, 6\"] }. 403 Forbidden — returned when the API key lacks the required wireless:config:read OAuth scope, or when the caller has no RBAC wireless_read or network_admin role on any wireless network in the organization. 404 Not Found — returned when the organization ID does not exist. 429 Too Many Requests — the Retry-After response header contains the number of seconds the client must wait before retrying. \n\n**Feature gating (G1):** The radio-power-constraints-api feature flag is evaluated once per request using the first eligible network as a representative sample. This is intentional organization-level gating: the flag controls API rollout at the org level, not per-network availability. When disabled, the endpoint returns an empty result. \n\n**Pagination strategy (F4):** Models are collected from all eligible networks, deduplicated by model name, and sorted alphabetically. The startingAfter cursor is a model name (uppercase). Malformed startingAfter values return 400. \n\n**Data strategy (F4):** Model and radio data is resolved from in-memory constant maps (RADIO_BDF_TX_POWER_LIMIT, RADIOS_MAP, ANTENNA_GAIN_BY_MODEL), not from additional database queries. The only SQL operations are for network scope resolution and feature flag evaluation. \n\n**Performance budget and targets (F1/F2 – pending validation):** Known AP model catalog is ~200 models. With flat model-level pagination, worst-case response at perPage=200 is ~200 models × 3 radios ≈ 50 KB. GA-promotion targets (not yet measured): p99 latency ≤ 200 ms at default perPage (100); sustained 50 req/s concurrency without error-rate increase. This endpoint is Alpha-gated.
