Description:
The Cisco DSRC (Dedicated Short Range Communication) DSLink may be used together with Road Side Unit (RSU) to collect data from cars passing by or send informational or warning messages to the cars. The DSRC DSLink may also be used together with an On Board Unit (OBU) to enable DSRC communication between for vehicles e.g. maintenance cars.
The current version of the DSRC DSLink is capable of sending and receiving messages according the SAE J2735 standard. Messages in the 2009 format as well the newer 2016 format are supported. The DSRC Link will detect the format of the message in the incoming data and appropriately.
