Configure Outlook to receive Blog Messages

Cisco Systems Unified Communications Manager uses the RSS Feed Blog on the Cisco Developer Portal to announce new and planned changes for all of the interfaces on Unified CM to our Developer Community. You can subscribe to RSS Feeds to automatically get the latest announcements pushed to any RSS 1.0 or Atom compatible feed reader, such as Outlook 2007, Google Reader, Del.icio.us, My Yahoo, etc.

Announcements include:

• Software availability
• New and changed interface features and methods
• Tips and Tricks
• Sample Applications
• Upcoming Webinar events
• General announcements

Follow these steps to read blogs and subscribe to RSS Feeds using Outlook 2007:

1. Open Microsoft Outlook 2007 and look for the RSS Feeds folder under Mailbox
   
2. Right-click on the RSS Feeds folder and select ‘Add a New RSS Feed'
   
3. Enter the desired RSS Feed link found on Table 1 in this document. Click ‘Add'
   
4. Select ‘Yes' to add the RSS Feed to Outlook
   
5. The RSS Feed has been added to Outlook
