Note: Version 2014.04 of the AJAX XMPP Library (CAXL) has been released. This version of CAXL supports both on-prem CUP as well as hosted deployments. Read the release notes here.

Add XMPP-based instant messaging, presence, and roster management to your web app

• Download CAXL.
  • Use the Debug version for development and testing:
    
    Cisco AJAX XMPP Library v2014.04.10787 DEBUG.zip
  • Use the Release version for the production deployment of your application:
    
    Cisco AJAX XMPP Library v2014.04.10787 RELEASE.zip
• Review the CAXL Deployment Guide to see how to setup the CAXL library on your web server.
• Walk through the Cisco Jabber IM and Presence Core API Sample Client for instructions on how to create a basic web app that can connect to an XMPP server, and send and receive messages.
