New Baseline and Compare to Baseline features |
When you configure Job execution profile information, you can now optionally designate (set) a test run as a baseline test run in order to establish a minimum or starting point that can be used to compare against the results against other Job Runs. You can use this feature as a means to:
- Test new IOS device features to prove their conformance to all functional, performance, reliability, and security requirements; this greatly improves/expedites Cisco Software development workflow by automatically catching regression errors and highlights areas for improvement
- Test any proposed changes or pending fixes to your network to perform a verification/sanity check to prove or assess the effectiveness of a specific implementation.
- Determine the health of your network at a certain point in time or at regular intervals to ensure that your network is working at an optimal level.

Baselining Job Test Results |
Four new Baseline CLI APIs added |
The following new CLI APIs have been added to the existing complement of XPRESSO Baseline CLI APIs:
- set-attribute: sets the baseline test case attributes
- unset-attribute: unsets (removes) the baseline test case attributes
- propagate: propagates the current baseline attributes to all previous baselines in a test case family
- update: updates the current baseline properties with user-defined category values

New Restrict the execution on Jenkins Node parameter option added |
XPRESSO Jobs are executed on the master Jenkins execution engine and any connected slave nodes by default. A new Restrict the execution on Jenkins Node parameter option has been added to the New Job configuration form to allows you to designate which Slave Jenkins execution node(s) should be used for offloading instead of the default mode of executing to any slave nodes that have less resources or test cases waiting to execute. |

New Disable/Enable Netclean option added for LaaS Topologies |
A new Netclean option (enabled by default) has been added to Reservations pages associated with LaaS topologies to allow you to disable Netclean. Netclean cleans
(purges or resets) all devices or selected devices in a network topology of any previous user-configured settings to an established baseline and reloads the device(s) using an existing (known) clean topology using a script or image. |

New Disable/Enable Power Reset option added for LaaS Topologies |
A new Power Reset option (enabled by default) has been added to Reservations pages associated with LaaS topologies to allow you to disable a Power Reset. If enabled, LaaS-NG will power all the devices in a given topology OFF and ON. If disabled, LaaS-NG will power ON the device to ensure the reserved device is in a power ON state. |

Cisco TRADe Group preference default setting changed to "Enabled" |
In the previous release of XPRESSO, the Cisco TRADe Group preference default setting was set to Disabled; the default for this setting has been changed to Enabled. When Enabled, this preference provides a quick link on the XPRESSO Results page to launch the Cisco TRADE Results Viewer to view pyATS test results. |

API automation token expiration time-out period extended |
In the previous release of XPRESSO, the API automation token expired after 90-days; tokens no longer expire (for new tokens only).
For API automation tokens currently in use, tokens still expires within 90-days; once you obtain a new token, new tokens will not expire. You will still receive notification 15-days prior to the token expiration date to warn you to renew the token. |
