How to Collect show tech wireless
Starting with WCAE v0.8.6, it is possible to process the debug bundle format, generated by the 9800 controllers
The debug bundle is a feature from the 9800 GUI, that allows to any command, collect the output, and generate a compressed file with the output. This is specially useful if you need to collect the "show tech wireless" needed for WCAE, on a large deployment scenarios with lots of access points
To do it, open log into your controller GUI, and go to Troubleshooting\Debug Bundle screen:
Then remove existing "sh run" command, using the X:
And add new command "show tech wireless", pressing the Add button:
The command will be included in the list. After it, press the "Create Debug Bundle" button. Say yes to this warning, ensure you only create one bundle at a time:
Controller will process the command, which may take few minutes, depending on your network size. When ready, click on the "Download Debug Bundle" to obtain the file, which can be used directly on WCAE Desktop or Cloud:
