Sensor Control Pin
Ambient light, Temperature and Humidity I2C Sensor
A TI OPT3001 ambient light sensor and TI DHT1080 temperature and humidity sensor are provided onboard the HDK for convenient prototyping purposes. They can be connected to the host AP I2C bus or accessed by the user's SBC via jumper block J4. The I2C lines are pulled up to 3.3V via 4.7KΩ resistor on the HDK.

Module access:
- Remove jumper blocks from J4-1/J4-3 and J4-2/J4-4
- Jumper wire from SBC's I2C-clock to J4-3
- Jumper wire from SBC's I2C-address/data to J4-4
Host AP access (not currently supported in SW) :
- Install jumper block across J4-1/J4-3 and J4-2/J4-4
External I2C Sensor Support
External 3.3V and 5V I2C sensor modules such as those available for Arduino development can be attached to J5 for host AP connectivity.
I2C signals from this header are 5V tolerant; they are level shifted to 3.3V on the HDK.
Module access:
- Connect external I2C sensors directly to user module instead of the HDK header block
Host AP access (not currently supported in SW) :
- Install jumper blocks across J4-5/J4-7 and J4-6/J4-8
