Log in to IoT OD

First Time User Login Experience
If you are logging in to the IoT OD for the first time and do not have a Cisco Customer Identity (CCI) account, you will receive an email with a link to activate your CCI account and welcoming you to IoT OD.
Click the activation link in the email to activate your CCI account and set up a password.
Note: The activation link provided is valid for 1 hour.
Click on the link provided in the email to log in to the IoT OD organization.
Note: If you try to log in to IoT OD without an IoT OD account but have a CCI account, you'll be prompted to link your accounts. Follow the instructions in the email sent to complete this process.
Existing User Login Experience
If you are an existing customer, complete these steps to log into IoT OD.
- In the IoT OD login screen, type in a valid Email Address.
- Click Continue.
- Enter a valid password.
Note: If you are a CCI user, you are redirected to CCI login page to enter your login credentials. For details, see Cisco SSO Experience.
- In the Organization screen, click the organization name you need to access to. If you are a part of more than one organization, a list of organizations is displayed for you to choose from.
Note: If you are already part of one or more existing organizations in an IoTOD cluster or have a CCI account from any other Cisco application, and you're added to a new organization in the same cluster, expect a welcome email from IoT OD. Click on the link provided in the email to log in to IoT OD or CCI.
The IoT OD sticky service feature remembers the last service you logged into and automatically directs you to the same service upon subsequent logins. For example, if you were last logged into SEA and logged out, the next time you log into IoT OD you are returned to the SEA service. This feature is also browser specific. If you open IoT OD in a different browser, it takes you to the default service page and not to the service page you last visited.
User Profile
You can access your profile and update the profile details after you log into the IoT OD.
Click the drop-down beside your login name on top-right corner of the dashboard and choose My Profile.
General Information such as your Name, Email and Phone Number are displayed. You can also view the Organizations and Roles that you are associated with.
Update profile and change password
For Local Users (Users who have not linked their profile with a CCI account)
Click the drop-down beside your login name on the top-right corner of the screen and choose My Profile.
In the My Profile screen, click Update Profile.
In the Update Profile slide-in pane, update the following profile information fields:
For CCI Users
For CCI users, the username and password cannot be edited in IoT OD. You can edit only the phone number used by IoT OD to send alerts.

For IdP Users
If you use an identity provider (IdP) for authentication, you can edit the username in the IoT OD. The change will not be reflected in your IdP account.
