Optimizing the Configuration in IW Service

When importing devices into IW Service, each device retains its individual configuration. Here are some recommendations for optimizing configurations across multiple devices:

Individual Device Configuration

  • Current Setup: Each device is imported with its unique configuration.
  • Parameter Changes: If you need to change a parameter, such as a DNS Server IP, you will need to update it on each device individually.

Optional Configuration Optimization This step is optional but recommended for efficiently managing changes across multiple devices.

  • Group Setup: Create groups in IW Service for devices of the same type and similar roles.
  • Configuration Alignment: Set up the group configuration to match the existing configuration of the devices.
